More than meets the eye

This is a mural in acrylic paint created for a molecular diagnostics company in South San Francisco California. It spans a total of 210 sq ft and took a total of nine months to fully execute. This was my very first large scale mural. Matter of fact, it was the first time I ever painted anything since junior higschool art class. Needless to say, I shocked the hell outta myself!
This still remains one of my favorite art works because it was the first ever on such a large scale. I was also working with a brand new medium that I didn’t yet know how to handle. It was nerve wracking. All that being said, I remember this time of excitement, naïveté, and unbridled enthusiasm of that time with extreme fondness. One of my favorite
